Modesty and movement were never meant to be a trade-off.
We built the brand we couldn’t find.
We spent months looking for swimwear that actually covered properly, moved properly in the water, and didn’t treat men’s modest swimwear as an afterthought bolted onto a women’s collection. What we found were compromises — swimwear that was modest but boxy, or activewear-first brands where swim was a side note.
Nahr started as an answer to that gap: full-coverage swimwear designed for women and men side by side, built around one non-negotiable — it has to work properly in the water, not just look right on a hanger.
Four things we don’t compromise on.
Coverage that holds
Opaque wet or dry, tested before it’s approved — not just claimed on a label.
Built for both
Women’s and men’s ranges designed together from day one, not one added on as an afterthought.
Open to everyone
Whether modesty is a matter of faith, comfort or personal choice, it’s welcome here — no explanation required.
Made to actually swim in
Relaxed fit, secure fastenings, quick-dry fabric — designed for the water, not just the walk to it.
“I didn’t want to build another brand that treated modest swimwear as a niche add-on. I wanted the first thing people noticed to be that it actually works — the modesty is the point, not the compromise.”
